DIY Wreath

All that you need is:

  • glue gun
  • yellow/white faux flowers
  • teal spray paint
  • branch wreath from Hobby Lobby
  • Burlap ribbon

First I spray painted the entire wreath teal. Once dry, I started to place the flowers on the wreath in the fashion that I wanted before hot gluing. When the placement is perfect, start gluing on the flowers.
For the burlap ribbon, I wrapped the  bottom with a small piece of ribbon. Then, I shaped a bow with the ribbon and hot glued it to the wrapped piece of burlap ribbon I put on prior.

Here is the finished piece, I've had this wreath on my door all summer long!

Easy Dog Treats

This is a recipe for quick and easy dog treats. Most recipes call for Wheat flour because it's healthier for your pet, however, white flour is still safe for dogs.
I found this recipe online when searching for easy pet treats!

Dog Treat Recipe

  • 1 cup flour + 2 tbsp
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter + 2 tbsp
Preheat the oven at 400* First mix the peanut butter and milk in a bowl with a hand mixer. Once creamy, gradually add in the flour. Once the mixture has formed into a dough, roll it into a ball.
Flour the rolling area and place dough on the flour. Roll out the dough and cut out the cookies with any shape you choose. Unfortunately I did not have a cute dog bone cookie cutter, but the gingerbread man was the perfect size.

Place the cookies onto a cookie sheet, I lightly greased my sheet with shortening to keep them from sticking. The cookies will not spread. Bake for 11 minutes in the oven.

Allow the biscuits to cool completely before giving it to your happy pet. When your dog catches a whiff of the peanut butter, they will go nuts! :)
My dog Indie wouldn't sit still, this was the best photo (that wasn't blurry) that I could get of him eating his tasty cookie!
